happy friday!

i woke up with a little spring in my step today knowing that i will be seeing some of my favorite people tonight.  that definitely helps to get through a friday :)

also looking forward to: sleeping! hanging out on the roof deck! reading catching fire! (yes, only mildly obsessed)

the start of a tradition

this weekend was absolutely perfect in every way.  as i mentioned last week, we packed up & escaped to the mountains for a weekend away with the very best friends.  it's after times like this, and memories made like these, that i think, wow, choosing penn state was the best decision i ever made.  the people that psu gave me are the seriously the first loves of my life. there's no other way to put it.  i feel so blessed to have friends so close that they are family!

already looking forward to next year's trip!

weekend get-away

this weekend we are packing up our bags and trekking up to raystown to spend the weekend in the woods in a beautiful cabin that my girlfriend & her family built from the bottom up.

seriously, isn't it perfect? 

i'm definitely looking forward to spending a few days with my college friends...just like old times!

devastated

not one to drum up any sort of controversy, but i am devastated over what is happening to the penn state community at this time. i know this is not about me, and not about joe paterno, this is about the innocent victims. penn state was a huge part of my life. the only college i ever wanted to go to, and the only college i even applied to. i am sad for everyone involved. penn state will never be the same. joepa will always be a legend in my eyes and it greatly disappoints me to see his amazing career being forced to end this way.
